The waterproofing system for the commercial building is designed to provide long-term protection against water infiltration, structural deterioration, and moisture-related damage. The system consists of multiple layers that work together to ensure durability, flexibility, and resistance to environmental conditions.

1. Substrate Preparation
The concrete substrate is cleaned, leveled, and repaired to ensure a smooth and stable surface. All cracks, honeycombs, and voids are treated with a polymer-modified repair mortar. Surface moisture and dust are removed to improve adhesion of the subsequent waterproofing layers.
2. Primer Layer
A polyurethane or acrylic-based primer is applied to enhance bonding between the concrete substrate and the waterproofing membrane. The primer penetrates the surface and improves adhesion strength while reducing surface porosity.
3. Waterproofing Membrane
A high-performance waterproofing membrane is applied as the primary barrier. Depending on project requirements, one of the following materials may be used:
- 1K or 2K Polyurethane Waterproof Coating – offers excellent elasticity, crack-bridging ability, and UV resistance.
- Cementitious Waterproof Coating (Flexible Type) – suitable for both positive and negative water pressure areas.
- SBS Modified Bitumen Membrane – provides strong mechanical strength and durability for roofs or podium structures.
- Acrylic Waterproof Coating – suitable for non-immersed areas with good weather resistance.

The membrane is applied in multiple coats to achieve the specified dry film thickness and ensure seamless coverage.
4. Reinforcement Layer (if required)
A polyester fabric or fiberglass mesh is embedded between coating layers in areas of high movement, edges, joints, and pipe penetrations to enhance tensile strength and crack resistance.
