- Liquid waterproofing membrane (PU / acrylic / cement-based)
- Reinforcement mesh (polyester or fiberglass)
- Sealant for joints and pipe penetrations
- Protection screed (cement mortar)
- Tile adhesive (for wet areas)
All materials shall follow manufacturer recommendations.
3. Surface Preparation
- Substrate must be firm, smooth, and fully cured (minimum 7–14 days for concrete).
- Remove dust, loose particles, oil, and debris.
- Repair cracks, holes, and uneven areas with repair mortar.
- Ensure proper slope toward floor drains (minimum 1–2%).
- Substrate must be dry before application.
- Apply primer evenly and allow to dry.
4. Application Procedure
4.1 Roof Waterproofing
- Apply first coat of waterproofing membrane evenly by roller or brush.
- Install reinforcement mesh at:
- Corners
- Parapet joints
- Around pipes and drains
- Apply second coat perpendicular to the first coat after initial curing.
- Total dry thickness: approximately 1.5–2.0 mm.
- After full curing, apply cement protection screed (30–50 mm) if required.

4.2 Bathroom & Toilet Areas
- Apply waterproofing to floor and extend up walls at least 300 mm high.
- Shower area walls should be waterproofed up to 1.8 meters height.
- Reinforce all floor-wall junctions and pipe penetrations.
- Apply minimum two coats.
- Conduct water ponding test for 24–48 hours before tiling.
4.3 Balcony & Terrace
- Ensure proper drainage slope.
- Apply two coats of waterproofing membrane.
- Reinforce corners and door thresholds.
- Perform 24-hour water test before finishing.

5. Inspection & Testing
- Visual inspection for uniform coverage.
- Ensure no pinholes, cracks, or missed areas.
- Conduct water ponding test for wet areas.
- Repair any leakage before finishing works.
